The Family Ministry at City Pres exists to care for the families of our community and guiding the children into relationships with God. We seek to reinforce the biblical truths that parents are teaching at home, support and encourage the parents, and to give children the opportunity to benefit from relationships with other children and adults in our congregation. Children’s Ministry is not about controlling, babysitting, or entertaining kids on Sunday morning; it’s about teaching children to be followers of Christ and in so doing, making an investment in his Kingdom for eternity. Ultimately, we want to see these little ones walking with God as mature Christians for the rest of their lives.
This group meets periodically each month September through May allowing moms to come together for mutual support, fellowship, engage in a topic or book discussion. This is a child friendly opportunity with the little babies remaining with the moms while childcare is provided for the toddlers and older children. Please contact the Mom’s Group if you are interested in joining and for more details.

The City Pres Meal Train organizes meal giving for our families from our community around significant life events, such as the birth of a new baby. It is a small gesture to help reduce the burden to the entire family in planning and preparing the meals. Besides offering immediate assistance, it allows us the opportunity to show our willingness to help in the future as we welcome our newest little brothers and sisters into our community.
